These qualifications were developed in partnership with They will prepare the learner to work in the field of medical administration learning skills in medical terminology and data protection.

These qualifications can help you can start or develop your career as a medical administrator or secretary, providing vital support for doctors and other healthcare professionals.

A medical administration qualification is ideal if you're interested in a career in administration.  Level 2 is intended for learners who have no previous knowledge of the subject, and who wish to get a grounding in the correct construction, recognition and usage of medical terminology.  Level 3 allows learners to build on and further develop their existing skills.

Anyone can take this qualification, but you must make sure all your learners have the potential and opportunity to complete it.

The Level 2 Award in Medical Terminology will help you to develop some of the skills needed to provide effective administrative support within any health care setting.
